Trip South

Just before we left for our California/Arizona visit, I snapped a couple of photos of the first part of the tulip bloom. I'm thinking that when we return, we could be in for an exciting display.

We left about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and drove to Mesquite and stayed at the Virgin River Casino/Hotel. I was busy a lot of the way with phone calls I needed to make including a phone appointment with a client for an hour. Wednesday we answered email for a while and then got going south again. We stopped in Vegas to get Dad a shirt from Las Vegas Harley Davidson (he's getting quite the collection going now). It was a great showroom--large, lot's of bikes. And they had a bunch of mannequins modeling Harley clothes with a Las Vegas flair. Also, notice the gas tank autographed by Bruce Springsteen. Then, naturally, we stopped for lunch at the Mad Greek in Baker.
